Partly Facetious: Why didn't Dar accompany PM to Karachi?

"Our Deputy Prime Minister did not accompany the Prime Minister to Karachi."
"I heard he was not well, reportedly he got his secretary to cancel his scheduled meetings in Karachi and the Secretary said he was calling from the hospital."
